2021 TLX TYPE-S Transmission drive modes and paddle shifting

Описание: This video goes over the two transmission drive modes on the TLX TYPE-S to clear up some misconceptions out there about the manual sequential shifting mode not being able to hold gears.

There are two transmission modes on the digital gear selector:

D - Drive mode which uses all 10 gears on the 10 speed transmission and prioritizes lower rpms throughout the drive to provide more comfort and save fuel

S - Sport mode which uses on 8 gears (locking out 9 & 10) while also providing higher rpms and a sportier drive.

*In Sport or Sport+ Integrated Dynamics Modes the transmission will prioritize 7th gear to stay closer to the engines power band for a more engaging drive. Upshifts are 40% quicker in Sport and upshifts and downshifts are 40% faster in Sport+
