Today I’m sharing a super exciting day in my life as a Sri Lankan PhD student living in Australia! I attended a uni symposium for my very first 3MT (Three Minute Thesis) presentation, and to my surprise, I won the Best Poster Presentation Award for the best poster pitch! 🌸✨ The day was filled with nerves, excitement, and so many learning moments that made me feel proud and motivated 🎀💌
After the symposium, I had a lovely dinner with my research team, trying Lebanese food for the very first time — the flavours were amazing, and it felt so nice to celebrate together 🫶🏻💖
