Here's a quick look at my GAW-100 watch which looks almost the same as the GAS-100 watch which is available now at several Walmart stores in my area. The GAS-100 is a "Solar Only" version of the GAW-100. I already have a GAW-100 but I wanted to get a different color version of it. The thing is, I was told that the GAW-100 has been discontinued. I haven't checked other sources to confirm that's true but maybe it's a good idea to act now anyway if you are thinking about getting a GAW-100.
The GAW-100 uses module 5444 and you can download a manual for that module from Casio's website. The GAW-100 uses Casio's Tough Solar feature to charge the power supply with regular exposure to normal lighting. It has Multiband 6 for automatic time synchronization with atomic clocks in different parts of the northern hemisphere. It has a world time mode, 60-minute stopwatch, up to 100-minute countdown timer, hourly chime and five daily alarms. It's also water resistant to 200 Meters (20 Bar).
