Metallica absolutely nailed this 1989 live cover of Budgie’s Breadfan. What a tribute to a massively underrated band!
I originally discovered Budgie through my first reaction here:

This performance rips. Lars is locked in, the band is on fire, and the crowd is losing it. After the reaction, I go on a bit of a pro-Lars rant — because honestly, the guy takes too much flak. He’s a LEGEND, and this is exactly the kind of performance that proves it.
