I challenged myself to make a journal with old blue jeans. As I often do, I set aside a space to gather together the materials that would best suit the project. Once I had enough stuff it became time to put it all together.

This is sewn journal cover. The core is buckram and quilt batting sewn together and the blue jeans fabric is hand sewn on as are the closure ties. The pockets were partially machine sewn and the top of the pockets are all hand sewn. Overall there is a lot of stitching in this journal both machine and hand

This is a very chunky writing journal and scrapbook, also for drawing, adding photos, memorabilia, a dream journal, all the usual goodness.

Blue Jeans Journal has three signatures with a total of 116 pages front and back, plus 33 tags, notepads and Journaling cards, and more. It is 9-1/2" tall x 6-1/2" wide x 3" thick - Chunky
I included an envelope with bits and pieces left over for creative use, along with a few other embellishments.
