Houthis or Iran? Why US Diplomats Are Leaving Saudi Arabia

Описание: The US has ordered non-emergency diplomats and their families out of Saudi Arabia, blaming Houthi attacks on airports and oil. Within hours, a strike hit Dammam's airport and a drone attack on Aramco's Shaybah field killed two people. The last time America pulled people out of the Gulf like this was in March, days after the war on Iran began, and the New York Times now reports US and Israeli plans for a 'short but intensive operation' against Iran after the midterms.

Our call: The ordered departure from Saudi Arabia is still in force on 3 November 2026; any US strike on the Houthis or Iran comes after the 3 November vote. Lean: US or Israeli strikes on Iran resume before the end of 2026.
