Your Part in God's Love Story - Genesis 24

Описание: This Sunday, we’ll turn to Genesis 24, one of the most beautiful and detailed stories in the book of Genesis. In this chapter, God sovereignly moves His redemptive plan forward, not through miracles or visions, but through the ordinary actions of faithful people. Abraham acts in faith, trusting that God will provide a bride for his son. The servant prays earnestly, depending on God’s providence at every step. Rebekah obeys courageously, leaving her home to follow God’s call. Through each of them, we see God sovereignly moving through His people to fulfill his redemptive plan—His eternal love story. You see, the love story between Isaac and Rebekah points to a far greater love story—the love of Christ for His bride, the Church. Because we live in that story, we too are called to walk in faith, to pray in dependence, and to obey in love, knowing that God works through our actions to fulfill His perfect purposes. I pray you will come and be encouraged to this end. Soli Deo Gloria!

3. What makes Rebekah’s obedience so striking and beautiful? How does her willingness to respond immediately and faithfully to God’s call speak to your own obedience to God's Word?

4. How might your faith, prayer life, and obedience look different if you truly saw them as part of God’s great love story of redemption? What steps can you take this week to grow in living and acting from that love?
