মঙ্গলবার সকাল ১০টার দিকে বরিশাল নগরীর সদর রোডের দলীয় কার্যালয় চত্বরে বিক্ষোভ সমাবেশ অনুষ্ঠিত হয়।

সমাবেশে খালেদা জিয়ার মুক্তির দাবি জানান বিএনপির নেতাকর্মীরা। এদিকে, রাজশাহীতে দলীয় কার্যালয়ের সামনে বিক্ষোভ করে মহানগর বিএনপি।

এসময় বিএনপি'র নেতারা বলেন, বেগম জিয়া মুক্ত হওয়া না পর্যন্ত এ আন্দোলন চলবে।
