Because of the happenings in the country I live in, I think it’s important to emphasize the view points of people who traveled far to participate as loving, caring citizens, who might just want a second chance at achieving the dream they’ve wanted.
Or people who are seeking safety & community in times of uncertainty within their home country.

I know that my mom and dad are thankful for the opportunities this country has given them, several more opportunities than they would’ve had in their homeland. They sacrificed a lot, and had to put down their pride several times to reach out for help from not just the community, but their own family back home.
There are so many people who are going through difficult times that we don’t know about & the way we can show people grace is through compassion & kindness.💕

If you see something, please say something! Record any occurrences around you, report any activity that seems suspicious, & don’t be afraid to speak up.
Bravery keeps us unified.
Courage makes us stronger.
We are all humans at the end of the day, and staying together is something worth fighting for.

The only way that we can stop injustices from occurring, is if we band together, hold firm, & stay strong in our beliefs.
Even if you don’t know your neighbor, we are all doing our absolute best to become better people, for ourselves, for our loved ones, & for our community.

Know your rights. Understand the law in the most basic form. And fight back against unfair judgement.
