▶ In this video I talk about the etymology of Canadian Provencial and territory Names. Canada is organized into 10 provinces and 3 territories. Throughout the video I go through each one and its capital: Edmonton Alberta, Victoria British Columbia, Winnipeg Manitoba, Fredericton New Brunswick, St. John's Newfoundland and Labrador, Halifax Nova Scotia, Toronto Ontario, Charlottetown Prince Edward Island, Quebec City Quebec, and Regina Saskatchewan. The capitals and their territories are: Yellowknife Northwest Territories, Iqaluit Nunavut, and Whitehorse Yukon. Most are named after British Royals like Queen Victoria and King George III and their families as well as some native first nation names and more. By summarizing this topic, I believe we are able to get a good understanding of the origin and meaning of each of Canada's provinces and territories and its nicknames
