THOUSANDS OF AMERICANS AND FILIPINOS WERE FORCED TO MARCH THROUGH BATAAN IN WHAT WAS CALLED THE "DEATH MARCH". IT IS SAD AND HORRIBLE HISTORY HERE IN THE PHILIPPINES.
In this video, we take off for a trip around the Province of Bataan. Starting in Balanga City, I take a trip to the market and enjoy the local eateries and snacks. From there, we head down to Mariveles, and spot the Bataan Death March markers along the way. Arriving at KM0 is a very sad reminder of the horrors of war. Thousands of Americans and Filipinos were forced to march 65 miles starting from this point in Bataan. War is horrible.
After learning a little history, we take a look at Five fingers, and end up driving all the way to Bagac, where I find an amazing little coffeeshop put up by a seafarer. Hideout is a great place to stop and enjoy some food and a drink!
Bataan is a Province full of intense history and wonderful coastlines.
