5. The Structure of the Atom
The discovery of the structure of the atom was inspired by the dream of the father of quantum mechanics, NIELS BOHR. One night in his dream, he saw the nucleus of the atom, with electrons spinning around it, much similar to the planets spinning around the sun. Immediately he returned to his lab & searched the evidence to support his theory to finalize the structure of the ATOM.

4. The First Periodic Table
Dmitri Mendeleev the discoverer of the periodic table took the challenge to figure out a logical, scientifically accepted way of presenting all the discovered elements. Though he tried his best but was not able to put all the elements in place. However one night he saw a dream of a table where all the elements were falling into place as required. Immediately he wrote it in a piece of paper & finally our modern periodic table got published in 1869.

3. The sewing machine
We should give credit to the dream of Elias Howe for discovering the sewing machine. Though he had the idea of a machine with a needle which would go through a piece of cloth but he couldn't figure out exactly how it would work. In his dream he saw cannibals were preparing to cook him while dancing around the fire waving their spears. Howe noticed at the head of each spear there was a small hole through the shaft and the up-and-down motion of the spears and the hole stuck in his mind when he woke. The idea of passing the thread through the needle close to the point, not at the other end, was a major innovation in making mechanical sewing possible.

2. Discovery of Benzene
For several years scientists were trying to figure out the molecular structure of the Benzene without success till Friedrich August Kekulé got the idea in his dream. In his dream he was surrounded by group snakes swallowing their tails by forming a hexagon like structure. He woke up & successfully able to create the almost impossible chemical structure of Benzene. (C6H6).

1. Theory of Relativity
The famous theory was discovered by Albert Einstein in his strange dream. He dreamed that a bunch of cows were approaching towards a electrified fence where the farmer switched the fence on. He observed all the cows jumped back together as they got shocked. He discussed this with farmer where he mentioned cows jumped back one by one. When awoke, his dream gave him an idea that one observer may see certain things happen instantaneously while others may see the same event happen in a sequence. This initiated the basis of the theory of relativity.
