When harvesting fall honey in the cooler climates it can sometimes be difficult to warm the honey frames so that the honey will flow when being harvested. Dad came up with an amazing idea of using heat mats under the supers (heat rises) to slowly and gently raise the heat so that the honey will flow!
We used 2 of these mats as it is what he had on hand from starting seeds this past spring:
