Biden has proposed a ceasefire and hostage negotiations with the help of Qatar and Egypt.

Israel’s Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu reassured Lebanese citizens that Israel's fight is with Hezbollah, not the people of Lebanon, urging them to distance themselves from Hezbollah sites.
