1. Go to the Accounting module and select "Configuration" from the main menu.

2. Click on "Currencies" to access the Currencies configuration screen.

3. Click on the "Create" button to create a new currency.

4. Enter the name of the currency, select the currency symbol and enter the currency code.

5. Enter the exchange rate for the currency. You can enter this rate manually or connect to a currency exchange provider to get the latest exchange rates.

6. Click on the "Save" button to save the new currency.

7. Go to the "Accounting" menu and select "Journals".

8. Create a new journal for foreign currency transactions.

11. Create a new invoice or bill and enter the transaction in the foreign currency.

12. When you save the invoice or bill, Odoo will automatically calculate the unrealized gain/loss for the transaction based on the current exchange rate.

13. To view the unrealized gain/loss for a transaction, go to the Journal Items list view and select the transaction. The unrealized gain/loss will be displayed in the "Unrealized Gain/Loss" column.

14. When the transaction is settled, Odoo will automatically update the realized gain/loss based on the exchange rate at the time of settlement.
