Today, I showcase my Samsung Odyssey OLED 34" and 49" Gaming Monitors. The topic is the Lost SDR Brightness Peak option removed from the monitor menu.. This includes both the G85SB & G95SC first editions of the New QD OLED Samsung Gaming Line.

In this video I show the missing SDR brightness option and how it looked with it on vs Off ON the Odyssey G8 34" Vs Odyssey G9 49". While the 49" is wide and has more panel real estate here it is even brighter vs a 34" in the same setting aspect ratio of 21:9. Also, see new video with the Samsung Odyssey G85SB 34" Vs. New Alienware AW3425DW 34" for another example of native 34" Ultrawide panels.

(Both of these monitors shown 34" G85SB and 49" G95SC have not been updated and I can still the enable PEAK Brightness option. It is not known if new stock of these exact Monitors come with old or new firmware pre-installed)

SDR PEAK Brightness option has been REMOVED* by Samsung as of:
G85SB AFTER AUG FIRMWARE: 1520
G95SC AFTER AUG FIRMWARE: 1023
