Jeff Edwards, our Public Works Crew Chief, leads a small but mighty department that takes on a wide range of responsibilities. From facility maintenance and roadway repairs to sidewalk work, right-of-way upkeep, and just about any task assigned, this team does everything they can to meet the City’s needs. With such variety, no two days look exactly alike — their work shifts with the seasons and the projects at hand.
Jeff says the best piece of advice he’s ever received is that “a positive attitude can go a long way.” He adds: “I’ve never had a bad day that I didn’t want. I live by that.” It’s that spirit that drives his team forward, no matter the challenge.
He also encourages residents to communicate openly with Public Works. Whether it’s stopping by when you see the crew in your neighborhood, flagging down a truck to say hello, or bringing up a concern, your Public Works team is here to help.
