The full game is here at last! To be honest, this ended up being a lot harder than I expected. Not sure if it's just me not being used to the game, but dodging in this feels like a bit of a nightmare for no damage. The window seems very small, and in this more than any other game your positioning really matters when dodging. A lot of the time I'd dodge at the exact same time, but because the boss approached me slightly differently I'd end up getting hit. I think it'll take a bit of getting used to, but hopefully it's viable for the remainder of the game. I believe this boss was in the first playtest demo thing, but I never got to do that so it's a new fight for me.

Level 23 here (around that I think), stats focused Endurance and Proficiency. Skills into Swift Attack for spear, getting Moonlight Stance. Points into Shrewd Agility for dodge cost decrease.

I've decided to go for a dodging approach on all bosses where it's possible, as I feel like most no damage runs will be using the parry mechanics. They're way more flashy and more of a spectacle too, but I've always enjoyed the more traditional approach to soulslikes in needing to dodge. I also feel like showing how and where to dodge is more helpful for people to use as a guide, opposed to standing on the spot and parrying everything.
