This Is It: 50 London O2 — Concert Merchandise (2009 - 2010)

Описание: Michael Jackson announced his London residency concerts, This Is It, as his “final curtain call” in regard to live performances, via a press conference held on March 5, 2009. This Is It was originally intended to consist of 10 shows, but was soon expanded to 50 shows following high demand. The concerts were scheduled to run from July 13, 2009, to March 6, 2010, but were cancelled due to the tragic and untimely passing of Michael Jackson on June 25, 2009.

The merchandise featured in this video was to be sold at those concerts.

To be sold exclusively at the first This Is It show on July 13, 2009, this red shirt by Bravado features Michael Jackson from the Black or White short film on the front, and on the back, a large varsity-style font number 1 representing which show this shirt was to be sold at.

To be sold exclusively at the last This Is It show on March 6, 2010, this yellow shirt by Bravado features Michael Jackson from the Black or White short film on the front, and on the back, a large varsity-style font number 50 representing which show this shirt was to be sold at.

This white fashion scarf released in 2009 by Bravado features a winged MJ logo on one side and King of Pop 50 London O2 on the other side.

This vibrant blue necktie released in 2009 by Bravado features the same winged MJ logo as seen on the fashion scarf in this video, as well as a gold overlapping MJ logo with King of Pop 50 London O2 beneath it.

This elaborately designed double-sided shirt by Bravado features gold wings around an image of Michael Jackson performing Billie Jean in concert. The back incorporates the residency shows title, a royal crown, stars, and the honorific King of Pop title into its design, arranged in such a way that is reminiscent of a masquerade mask.

Here we have an elegant wine glass by AEG with Michael Jackson, King of Pop, and 50 London O2 etched into the glass.

This limited edition fleece jacket released by Bravado in 2009, is reminiscent of the letterman jacket Michael Jackson wore in the beginning of the Thriller short film. This jacket is made of fleece, features a large Chenille letter M on the front-left, and Michael Jackson This Is It embroidered on the front-right. On the back, Thriller is printed in black script.

This was a birthday gift given to me by my sister in 2010. I was surprised when I pulled it out of the gift bag because I knew it was a rare find, especially considering it sold out soon after it was released in 2009.

This truckers hat, featuring Who’s Bad? and 50 London O2 stitched in black, was released by Bravado in 2009.

Shown here is a large 3 ½ x 2 ½ inch rectangular metal belt buckle that reads Who's Bad? and 50 London O2 in red lettering against a background of Michael Jackson’s name. All lettering is embossed. This belt buckle was released in 2009 and did not include the belt itself.
