NFL Mock Draft 3.0: A WR Shakeup, the Steelers Trade Up, and See Who Takes Ty!

In this version 3.0 (originally filmed on Feb 3, 2026), I veer from the consensus expectations in several places:

1:21 - 1) Raiders: 15 seconds to describe the no-brainer pick for LV.
1:36 - 2) Jets: After signing a bridge QB in the offseason, NY will focus on taking the BPA here.
2:20 - 3) Cardinals: It only makes sense for ARI to draft an offensive lineman here with this premium pick.
3:32 - 4) Titans: Saleh is joining at HC and this is "the perfect landing spot" for this versatile defensive player.
4:19 - 5) Giants: In the first year of Harbaugh's new tenure as HC, he'll immediately want to draft this impactful player.
6:30 - 6) Browns: "There is no world where you can take a skill position player without locking down this offensive line first and foremost."
7:18 - 7) Commanders: Washington needs this a youthful playmaker to bring energy to its aging defense.
8:15 - 8) Saints: I'm breaking from consensus on this one, and would be thrilled by my favorite team to draft this "perfect fit" player.
10:03 - 9) Chiefs: Another controversial pick here, yet this player from deeper down the Big Board is a great fit for KC's scheme.
12:40 - 10) Bengals: "Another pick that could go anywhere." But I'm sticking with the player who I believe addresses Cincinnati's most-pressing need.
13:57 - 11) Dolphins: Miami got destroyed in the passing game last year. They need to address that in this year's draft.
15:06 - 12) Cowboys: Dallas gave up a league-worst 30 points per game to opponents last year and this player will most help to improve that.
15:44 - 13) Rams (from ATL): LA has a fantastic roster, but is certainly lacking in one particular position. This pick is best-in-class at that need.
17:02 - 14) Ravens: There's nothing more important in 2026 than giving Lamar more support and protection.
18:23 - THE FIRST TRADE! 15) The Buccaneers trade down with the Steelers, who are THRILLED to move up to select this offensive weapon.
20:13 - 16) NY Jets (via IND): The Jets' offensive is in the middle of a rebuild. This "potentially overrated" player is a good value pick at #16.
21:39 - 17) Lions: "One of my favorite player/team pairings of the entire first round."
22:55 - 18) Vikings: "Minnesota runs the card in immediately if this player is still available at pick #18."

** PLAYOFF TEAMS **

23:52 - 19) Panthers: Carolina has a lot of options with this pick, but this player fits right in with what the Panthers ultimately want to do.
25:11 - 20) Cowboys (from GB): Dallas doubles-down on defense with this impactful leader of the secondary.
25:58 - 21) Buccaneers (from PIT): After trading down, Tampa Bay still gets to draft this "natural fit for their offense"
26:58 - 22) Chargers: Harbaugh wants maulers on his offensive line to protect Justin Herbert. This player is an absolutely massive human being.
28:16 - 23) Eagles: Yet another powerful QB rusher to further build out the Eagles' never-ending defensive line pipeline.
29:50 - 24) Browns (from JAX): A reliable downfield target for the highly-accurate, pocket-passing Shedeur .
30:59 - 25) Bears: Another of my "perfect player/team pairings" in this future anchor of the Bears highly-physical defensive front.
31:53 - 26) Bills: "This is going to be another big reach" but is actually a fantastic, big-bodied downfield target for Josh Allen.
32:59 - 27) 49ers: Between losing Deebo, Aiyuk, Jennings, and Kittle SF is running out of receiving options. This player immediately helps with that.
33:55 - 28) Texans: Protecting CJ Stroud needs to be Houston's top priority.
35:10 - 29) LA Rams: Surprise! The Rams invest a year ahead of need and draft and invest in this player's future development.
37:20 - 30) Broncos: Denver's elite defense gets even more elite here at #30.
38:23 - 31) Patriots: NE selects another short-armed playmaker to keep them in Super Bowl contention again in 2026.
39:25 - 32) Seahawks: Legion of Boom 2.0 gets even stronger with this physical, lockdown playmaker.
