Warren Masemola is a South African actor and voice over artist who was born 18 May 1983 (39 years old). He is best known for portraying a character as director Lentswe Mokethi on Scandal in 2008
Warren was born in Garankuwa but spent his childhood in Soshanguve. In the year 2000, he enrolled at Reitumetse/Tshwane Christian School. He realized that his passion for the arts could be turned into a career and enrolled at Moving Into Dance, a dance academy in Johannesburg's Newtown. He studied there for a year before moving on to the Market Theatre Laboratory for two years, where he graduated in 2004.
Warren was fortunate to grew up with both parents but unfortunately his father passed away when he was in Grade 7. The passing of his father left him broken but he found comfort in his mother who was still alive.
Condition of Alopecia
He was diagnosed with alopecia, a condition that causes hair loss, when he was six years old. He's been bald since then. Not having hair was an issue when he was younger, but he got over it as he grew older. It's one of the things that helped him accept himself for who he is. He don't think there was stigma, he says, because people didn't know what alopecia was. The actor, who was born in GaRankuwa, north of Pretoria, says his childhood in the nearby Soshanguve township was enjoyable despite his condition. He was a mischievous child. He was always misplacing his school jersey or blazer at school.
