Just around the corner from Corning Glass Works, the Twin Tiers Antiques Plaza offers a treasure trove of finds in a two-level Victorian-era building. This antique center is packed with hometown classics like Corning, Pyrex, and Corelle Ware, but its maze-like layout reveals so much more. From WWII bond posters and McCoy Pottery to Empoli glass and cigarette stands, this place is a collector’s paradise.

Right at the entrance, a shelf of affordable 1940s Harkerware catches our attention, and the finds don’t stop there. We spot an FDR clock, a pedal tractor, and surprisingly low-priced Pyrex and Steuben glass from the local factory. Other standout pieces include Wade Whimsies, a Snow White figurine, and a Fontanini nativity set—just in time for the holidays.

Upstairs, the variety is even more impressive. Neon beer signs, a Mickey Mouse Poosh-Em-Car, a scarce Canada Dry cooler, and a stunning 1910s celluloid box are just some of the unique items we discover. A wall of vintage hand tools, a disturbing restraint chair, and bargains like 1930s ribbon girls, 1950s canister sets, a flute, a Shakespeare plate, and a Victorian ruby-stained vase make this an unforgettable experience.

Our visit wouldn’t be complete without reflecting on the beauty of the Corning Museum collections and contrasting it with the less-than-stellar glass reproductions by AA Importing. In this town where glass reigns supreme, antiques and vintage treasures of all kinds are waiting to find their way into new collector homes!
