A statement from the owner of Eco Four Twenty is below, who started making threats and spouting insane non sense in the comments of my review video, which I had to remove for decency's sake. But they suggested I make a video of me beating a baby, which I have the evidence of.

They had already begun attacking my video as slanderous and false etc. before replying to my email, thus the anger in subsequent replies. I'm just a customer, I'm not making money. I'm not sponsored. They are a legit business acting this way. Please consider this before supporting their company.

There was a very strong mint/menthol/eucalyptus smell which they refuse to admit to, my wife smelled this and she is not a toker I just wanted to verify it wasn't in my head at that moment

Good morning,

Around 6 weeks back I ordered one of your air filters from Amazon.ca. I was quite surprised by the thought and quality put into the design. I was really looking forward to saving on the plastic waste from discarded Smoke Buddys. Unfortunately, the eco four twenty just didn't live up to my expectations. I don't know if you are considering a redesign or a new model, but I have some suggestions. Make the body larger, the interior volume helps with large tokes and a rapid exhale as well as easy of exhale. You could potentially use recycled plastic for the body, as smoke filters don't see tons of abuse and it would save on material costs and weight. (I love the aluminum, but could see it being costly on a larger product). I personally did not like the menthol in the eco either, it gave a weird odor that was mildly off putting when I exhaled.

I love the product, but as a heavy medical cannabis user, and one who solely uses extracts, it just doesn't work. I hope you take this into consideration, as you have great potential with your design. If you ever do release an updated model, I'll be sure to post a video review on my YouTube channel. (The Eco Four Twenty is my first unboxing video)


This was sent AFTER they attacked this video. Then I got upset with him. They behave like petulant children while the business is failing and I offered constructive criticism.

We are a small business and just struggling to live and survive truthfully. So although we hope to do redesigns and improvements in the future, we are just a small business struggling to pay rent at the moment. There is a reason that Smoke Buddy has 3 versions, they made a larger one. Smoke Buddy is also a huge corporation with VC funding and millions of dollars of investment. We are a small team doing it in our apartment. Bad reviews and videos like yours really hurt our business, but you are free to post videos showcasing your bad experience.
