A quick trip review of my trip to Lassen Volcanic National Park and my stay at St. Bernard Lodge. St. Bernard lodge is a great base camp for exploring near Lassen's South Side. Access to Chester, and Lake Almanor is just down the road. On this trip I was Snowshoeing n Lassen and also discovered the Mcgowan Fields Snowshoe area. Great fluffy snow today. Good thing i had a hearty breakfast from the staff at St. Bernard lodge to keep me going.
Slept great last night and I even had an evening where the frogs were serenading me to sleep before the snow arrived this morning.
