Описание: Dave Steward doesn’t really “do” DJ sets, they come around every three years or so under normal circumstances and these strange days are anything but however a brand new production mix is ready for release, part of a package of new releases made available in response to the current crisis. One of the themes of our new normal is the streaming of live sets, leading to an increased connection between producer and audience. With that in mind, I was keen to get a sneak peek at Dave Steward’s #stayathome live production mix. By 35 minutes in, I’d run out of space to dance in my front room and I was hooked. Paying homage to the trance anthems that defined a generation, solid driving beats with proper melodic uplift, added to a little bit of filth......anthemic riffs and ethereal vocals contrast the sweaty, dark and urgent energy that gets your feet on the dancefloor and your hands punching the air, all with a smile of recognition plastered all over your face. Probably. Actually, at 35 minutes, there won’t be many who aren’t doing exactly that; by 38 minutes, I guarantee it! Not waiting another three years I can tell you that.
