What's Next For Our Church | Episode 1 | Epic Church

Описание: We live in a hybrid digital and physical world that has changed just about everything we do—including church.

Here’s what that means for us:

📝 EPISODE NOTES:
• We plan to return to in-person gatherings on August 1st.
• The world has changed, and the way people do church has changed, too.
• We’ll meet in person once a month for something called Epic Live.
• The other weeks, you’ll meet with friends or family for a digital church experience.
• Every day, they continued to meet together in the temple courts. They broke bread in their homes and ate together with glad and sincere hearts. | Acts 2, v.46
• Day after day, in the temple courts and from house to house, they never stopped teaching and proclaiming the good news that Jesus is the Messiah. | Acts 5, v.42
• Two goals - 1) Help you grow. 2) Spread the message of Jesus to every person.
• A regular church attendee goes to church 1.6 times a month.
• Making people go to a specific place at a specific time for church is antiquated, and it’s limiting.
• Matthew 28, v.17-20 (“Go and make disciples of all nations…”)
• “And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age." | Matthew 28, v.20
• We started Epic because Philly needed a different kind of church. Now we have an opportunity to be something different all over again.
