On 26th August 2015, the London School of Puppetry started a week-long programme on the Art of Puppetry in Education and Therapy, focusing on shadow puppetry.
This video shows what the participants did on the first day of the programme. They constructed various shadow screens using cane, paper, plastic, cellophane, chairs (and even a bicycle wheel!). They then explored and animated the screens with shadow puppets and torches.
The course was run by Caroline Astell-Burt (LSP) and Kay Yasugi (Pupperoos).
