1980 Opel Ascona 400 Conrero by Jocher Racing Team + OnBoards - Winners of Modena Cento Ore 2025

Описание: I had the pleasure of filming the fantastic Opel Ascona 400 Conrero of the German team Jocher Racing. They emerged victorious in the G/H/I "Competition" category of the 2025 edition of the Modena Cento Ore after five intense days of racing, covering ten special stages and five circuit races. This was an extraordinary result considering that the same class featured much more powerful and lighter vehicles. This result was achieved thanks to the excellent management of every aspect of the race, the outstanding performances of the Matthias & Staphan Jocher crew, and the remarkable skill of their mechanics in quickly resolving every issue—a great, well-deserved victory. The car, registered TO U55639, is a former Opel/GM Italia works car, prepared and owned by Conrero himself in 1980. This FIA-approved car, equipped with FIA Appendix K documentation, features a 2.4-litre Cosworth-Opel engine producing 350 hp (Gerent Engine Germany) and a Getrag 265 gearbox (prepared by GR Box). The Ascona 400 was finally tuned for racing by the Jocher Racing team in collaboration with Carenini Gino Srls (Silvano). In the 1980s, it competed with factory driver Dario Cerrato and navigator Giuseppe Cerri, achieving excellent results in the Italian championship. The livery you see is the original one from the 1982 Sanremo Rally. I want to thank the Jocher Racing team for allowing me to film their cars with onboard equipment during the last three days of the race at the Mugello, Misano, and Imola circuits. Enjoy! 😉

Ho avuto il piacere di filmare la fantastica Opel Ascona 400 Conrero del team tedesco Jocher Racing. Sono risultati i vincitori nella categoria "Competition" G/H/I dell'edizione 2025 della Modena Cento Ore dopo 5 intensi giorni di gara su 10 prove speciali e 5 competizioni in circuito. Un risultato straordinario se si pensa che nella stessa classe erano presenti vetture molto più potenti e leggere. Il risultato è maturato dall'ottima gestione di ogni aspetto di gara, dalle ottime performance dell'equipaggio Matthias & Staphan Jocher e dalla grande bravura dei loro meccanici nel risolvere ogni problema in tempi rapidi. Una grande, meritata vittoria. La vettura targata TO U55639 è un'ex ufficiale Opel/GM Italia, preparata e posseduta dallo stesso Conrero nel 1980. Auto omologata FIA con documentazione FIA appendice K è dotata di un motore omologato da 2,4 litri Cosworth-Opel con 350 CV (Gerent Engine Germany) e cambio Getrag 265 (preparato da GR Box). L'Ascona 400 è stata infine messa a punto per le gare dal team Jocher Racing in collaborazione con Carenini Gino Srls (Silvano). Negli anni '80 gareggiò con il pilota ufficiale Dario Cerrato e il navigatore Giuseppe Cerri, ottenendo ottimi risultati nel campionato italiano. La livrea che vedete è quella originale del rally di Sanremo 1982. Devo ringraziare il team Jocher Racing per avermi permesso di filmare le loro vetture con onboard nelle ultime tre giornate di gara nei circuiti di Mugello, Misano ed Imola. Buona visione! 😉
