Daily life in my resin studio | This week I was busy with a resin and an alcohol ink art painting, in fact two of them but let’s start with the resin project. I was asked by Gina, an amazing pâtissier, who makes the most amazing cakes, to revamp a metallic cake stand that was a little bit boring. She left me the task to resin it and add my touches to it and she didn’t really care what I did as long as it was in my style, so to speak. So, after some thought I came up with a neutral floral and dried leaf theme that would basically go with any type of cake in any color and that wouldn’t clash. And of course, some gold leaf touches and a little sparkle always makes a resin item look gorgeous.
