In an age of autotune and AI-generated content, Easton Union is still doing it the old-fashioned way — four guys in a room, chasing something real.

Over the past few weeks, we’ve been building a brand-new song from scratch. After laying down the bed tracks and recording lead vocals, we knew it needed something to set it apart.

A horn part.

There was just one problem…
We didn’t have the gear we thought we needed.

So instead of overthinking it or waiting for the “right” equipment, we grabbed a random piece of scrap metal pulled from an old speaker and decided to experiment.

What happened next might have given the track exactly the vintage character we were looking for.

Sometimes the best sounds don’t come from expensive equipment.
They come from limitations, spontaneity, and a willingness to try something weird.
