If your rear brakes need replacing on your Jaguar XE,XF the EPB (electric parking brake) will need to be placed into service mode to retract the brake calipers.
This is done on most vehicles using a diagnostic tool, but the Jaguar has a accessible on board service mode and can be placed into service mode using this short but simple procedure.
This procedure needs to be completed before the brake pads are removed.
To exit simply pump up foot brake and repeat procedure.
