Location: Outer Banks (near Avon) North Carolina January 12, 2026 5:34 PM
Introspection = Highway 12 North on the Outer Banks. After filming the sunset on the Outer Banks near Avon. Thor and I headed for camp. To our surprise the sunset was not done doing its thing. I looked over to see a wonderful purple sky and pulled into the Salvo Day use area to capture this beautiful purple sunset. This is a popular location so you may hear some voices nearby.
