Some days don’t quite go to plan…
On this particular day, Henry was just not up for being caught and having a halter put on!
But that’s ok. I got his attention by walking away and quietly standing with his halter. I then carried out a series of confidence building exercises to help him with accepting the rope halter.
This approach is good for introducing the halter to a horse or reintroducing it to nervous horses.
