In this video i have explained the Option of Pay fixation on promotion explained for Central Government employees in 7th CPC. there are two options - 1. pay fixation from the date of promotion and 2. pay fixation from the date of accrual of the increment in lower level. Satya: Hello brother...I have some doubt please clarify, if possible.

I am currently Accountant (level 5, Basic is -32,900) and will get promotion in October 2022 for the post of AAO (level 8, Basic will be 47,600 ).

My question is that if I exercise option on promotion what pay will be fixed on October, 2022 ( I.e. date of promotion) and Date of next increment 01 January, 2023.

I watched your Youtube video regarding the same.

Sir aapke liye dono option me same hi milega.

On promotion
32900 to 33900 so corresponding 47600 in level 8 till 01.07.2023.
Kyuki jan me aapke sirf 4 month pure honge 47600 basic pay pr. Isliye increment milega july me. Next increment again in july and so on.

On DNI
47000 (8) in intervening period till 01.01.2023.
On 01.01.2023 even after giving 2 increments on 32900, your pay will be lower than 47000. So again fixed on 47000.
On july you get increment and again in july and so on.
