Trump’s demand as Tehran attacks continue | Israel orders south Beirut evacuation

US President Donald Trump has called on Iran to surrender, saying the Iranian Revolutionary Guard, the IRGC, military, and police must lay down their arms, also saying he must be personally involve in selecting the country's new leader.

Israel launches airstrikes targeting what it says is Hezbollah infrastructure in Beirut's southern suburbs after earlier ordering hundreds of thousands of people to move east and north.

Iran has launched a fresh wave of strikes against Gulf States and there has been a furious reaction from Azerbaijan after a drone strike in the autonomous Nakhchivan enclave. Iran denies responsbility.

Meanwhile Australian Prime Minister Anthony Albanese has confirmed ADF personnel were on board the US submarine as it sank an Iranian navy frigate.

And another spike in the oil price has send sharemarkets tumbling around the world.
