SPOKANE, Wash - Spokane Schools could be getting $1 million dollars in a settlement with the vaping company Juul if the school board votes to approve the settlement at a meeting Wednesday evening.
Spokane Schools joined hundreds of school districts nationwide and many in Washington in a suit against Juul, accusing the company of targeting kids with their products.

Spokane Schools voted last fall to join the lawsuit, which has now reached a tentative settlement.
While the document specifically regarding the settlement does not include a dollar amount, the school board agenda says "Initial estimates are that SPS will receive approximately one million dollars as a result of this settlement."
