During my time serving as a staff musician in a beautiful Catholic Church, I've come to gain a deeper appreciation of the musical history and meaning behind the music used in a traditional mass. While latin chants already exist, few times have I come across a collection that was written in a way that seemed approachable and written for the cantor that may have to sing acapella or with 3 other cantors and include optional chords for accompaniment. Because of this, I began writing an original collection that I hope will be a blessing to anyone and everyone who comes across it.

These include 5 different musical settings for the Kyrie, Alleluia ( 6 ), Sanctus ( 4 ), Mortem Tuam, and Agnus Dei.

I have written these parts so that they can be sung by one cantor acapella, one cantor and one accompanist, by 4 SATB cantors acapella, or by 4 SATB cantors and an accompanist. They are written in different styles that include more traditional influences and some that are more contemporary in sound. They are not a part of any one particular mass setting, but rather 25 individual stand - alone mass parts to be used as desired.

14 of these pieces have complete SATB parts written out, as well as the chords written above them as optional accompaniment. 11 of them are written for solo voice and also have the chords written above. In these videos I am singing the soprano part in my octave.

I hope these will be a blessing to you in some way, whether in your personal life, your church, as music that you enjoy, or something that brings stillness to your soul. I'm more of a composer than a vocalist, but I hope that these videos translate the basic ideas behind these pieces.
There is still so much I don't know about God, the afterlife, and even this life, but I believe there is a creator, and I believe that Jesus Christ was real, is real, and will continue being real. May the Creator guide me and teach me in this journey of the mystery of faith, and may He receive the glory and the honor. He is the origin of my melodies.
