Hello, everybody. This is Jeff at etrailer.com. Today, we're gonna take a look at this Bulldog Winch vertical, tire, ratcheting tie-down strap for one extra wide tire. And it is for a quantity of one. Now, this ratcheting tie-down strap will let you secure a tire vertically to your truck bed or your trailer. It's designed to work with either your spare tire or a tire that's still on the vehicle.

Want to pop up an insert just to show you. There's an example of this being used on a tire, show you how it works. It does offer an H-shape configuration here, which is designed to securely hold extra wide tires. Has a retainer strap right in the middle here that'll keep the side straps snug, prevent any spreading. And on each end, they have these heavy-duty steel spreader bars, which create a nice, secure connection between the straps.

The heavy-duty ratchet right here on this end has a nice, ergonomic contour handle, which will clinch the strap very tight. You can see just by that, you can tighten it up. The stamped steel twisted hook right here on the ratchet and the forged steel hook over here, these are connect to your attachment points on your truck or your trailer. The clasp or the keepers on these prevent accidental detachment from the D-rings. You can see both of the rings have these keepers on them.

This thick webbing on this is a seatbelt type webbing. It's a two inch wide, no-stretch polyester webbing. Has a nice gel coat on it to resist any tears or abrasion. This is for a quantity of one ratcheting H-strap. Now, the maximum tire diameter this is designed for is gonna be 37 inches.

The tire overall width maximum is nine inches. Now, the maximum load or breaking strength on this strap is 10,000 pounds. The working load limit, which is always a third of that, will be 3,335 pounds. And there is a note I do wanna mention, on tie-down straps, they must be chosen according to their safe working load limit. So basically, the weight of the secured cargo must not exceed the combined working load limit of the straps that are being used. So, just to give you an example, if you're using straps that have a working load limit of 500 pounds each and you're tying down a load of weighing 1,000 pounds, you're gonna need at least two straps to safely secure that load.
