Noddy helps the mermaids as they rehearse their water ballet but it’s brought to an end by the arrival of the pirates who can’t stop their ship because their anchor is missing. Noddy goes out in his submarine and finds the anchor with the help of the mermaids but it’s too heavy to tug back so he tugs the ship to the anchor! The pirate ship can now moor in the harbour and they let everyone come on deck for a great view of the water ballet.
