Are Tall Shooting Sticks or Monopods Stupid? Are You Just Standing Out In the Open?

Just like any piece of equipment there is a time and place to best utilize it. In this case the use of the tall shooting monopod looks as if I am out in the open, but from the targets perspective the ground and/or terrain is providing some cover and concealment. Other examples not mentioned in the video might be engaging over a short wall, or over a vehicle that is at a short distance away from you but you can see overtop of it to the target. Either way it comes back to where is the threat or target in relation to you and your cover and or concealment. You don't have to be inches or feet away from your cover for it to be effective. So to answer the question, yes I am standing out in the open but not from the perspective of the target. Hope this helps!
