Its Gen 6 time! Pokemon X and Y were the first games coming out for the Nintendo 3DS, afterwards came the Remakes of our beloved generation 3.
But how will they hold up to modern shiny huting? lets take a look at the PROs and CONs of shiny hunting in this generation.
Gen 6 gave us plenty of new methods to hunt in, and thats a great thing. It introduced us to Chain fishing, to dexnav hunting, horde encounters and brought back the PokeRadar. Beside that, they dropped the shiny encounter odds down to 1/4096. If thats a good thing or not is up to you.
