Ahead of the Inland Port Groundbreaking, we led an Industrial Bus Tour, spotlighting Montgomery and the Capital Region’s economic momentum and the game-changing investments driving our future.
Leaders and industry partners gathered to celebrate the Montgomery Intermodal Container Transfer Facility (ICTF)—a $94 million logistics hub designed to enhance freight mobility, streamline supply chains, and drive economic growth.
Since the project was announced in 2022:
$3 billion+ in new investments
1,400+ jobs created
Strategically located near I-65 and I-85, this facility will move 60,000 TEUs per year, strengthening global market access through the Port of Mobile.
The Capital Region is on the move, and this is just the beginning.
