This training plan walkthrough shows how I nest short-term training blocks (daily and weekly) inside a three-year long-term plan that steps from marathon, through 50 K and 50 mi, to a 100-mile finish in November 2026.
You’ll see my color-coded phase sequences (base, VO₂max, tempo, specific endurance), the 24-week build that helped me finish a 50 K, and the current high-volume block targeting 100 K in 12 hours. I cover how to adjust mileage with HRV and recovery metrics, plus how I rebuilt the schedule after a hyperthyroid setback.
