CONTEXT:People like to say that "our exosuits suck" and that "they are weak" when in reality they are very well designed. Especially when you compare them to the war strider they are make much better use of their quotas. You see, the exosuits we use are essentially a light tank. While the war strider is a main battle tank. The Emancipator and Patriot had to be designed to be easily air dropped (considering we are essentially paratroopers) for a light tank, the Exosuits we have make much better use of their weight and space. For example, the mechs we currently have far superior fire power to the war strider. TLDR: Our mechs have much less generous weight requirements but still manage to be superior to the automatons versions despite that. Our exosuits aren't bad, in fact they are great.
