After hearing Trapped a couple of months back I was really blown away how much they changed, with the heavy guitar tone like nothing I've ever heard before! Once they released 'Made This Way' I loved the energy right off the bat and the Animals As Leaders styled break down in the middle! Updates: Just some insight on this cover if your interested! Everything from mixing audio and video "editing" the one camera angles was done by me :)

This is the first time I have used "real" overhead mics, so it was tricky getting them to fit in the mix with out going crazy and changing levels a hundred times haha! I set them a little back in the mix because the last thing I wanted was a harsh sound that was inaudible, so the six stroke rolls on the hi-hat during the first verse seem to be a little quiet. Other than that I feel this is one of my best mixes and really wanted to make the kick prominent, since it has been a struggle to push to the front of the mixes on top of the song in previous covers.

I always try to improve the production value of the video every time I make a new video, but since I really wanted to get this out ASAP I ended up using my trusty iPhone 5 to get the main shot. Sadly with the video editing software I use, it has a weird bug where it doesn't upload the last 30 seconds or so from iPhone videos, so I had to just fade out where it ended.
