For more than 30 years, Projects Abroad has been the industry leader for overseas internships, gap years, and volunteer projects. Our High School Special projects provide the opportunity for 15-18 year olds to join their peers from all over the world to work alongside local professionals and gain valuable hands-on experience while making a difference in the communities where they work.

Our projects are long-term, sustainable efforts designed to accommodate volunteers and interns while having a positive impact on the local community, whether volunteers are able to dedicate two weeks, two months, or longer. By joining one of our projects, volunteers become a part of a global community dedicated to positive change, sustainable practices, and education. Our world-wide network of trained staff is always available to ensure that volunteers and interns get the most out of their experience overseas while making a meaningful contribution to local communities.
