The St. John Vianney Church is a church building in the Dutch city of Deventer. It is located on Rielerweg and named after St. John Mary Vianney, the patron saint of all parish priests worldwide, who was canonized in 1925. Until 2014, it was used by the Roman Catholic parish of the same name. In 2016, the Vianney Church became the property of Peter Vredeveld, a dealer in Buddha statues and Asian art. The zoning plan was amended to allow for an art gallery in the church. With respect for the building's monumental value, a gallery for Asian art was established. Where Roman Catholic saints previously defined the atmosphere, now the Buddha statues dominate.
