Background of this card.

Mockingbird (Barbara Morse) is one of the best S.H.I.E.L.D. agents. Despite the heavy casualties S.H.I.E.L.D. has taken during HYDRA's attack on it, she has stayed loyal to her oath and has continued her service in the remains of S.H.I.E.L.D. She will work at S.H.I.E.L.D.'s lab while she is recovering from her injuries, as she has a degree in biology, but she will always return to field duty once healed. She has worked undercover with HYDRA and gained the position of head of security at a HYDRA base.

Mockingbird is an agent's best hope when their cover is exposed to HYDRA. She will head the investigation for HYDRA. To maintain her cover, she will interrogate them several times, noting her extensive background with S.H.I.E.L.D. She has always ensured HYDRA of their loyalty. if this fails and the agents cover is still blown. She will act like she is arresting them with some guards then She leads them out of the facility attack the guards, easily overpowering them as the agent gets away will call out for help and fall down. If questioned blame it on a S.H.I.E.L.D. rescue.

Mockingbird was later assigned by Nick Fury to be the official S.H.I.E.L.D. liaison to outside Industries. She also became a S.H.I.E.L.D. handler to the many freelance avenger agents like Silk. She helps inspire many young people to follow in her footsteps because when she was as a kid, she wanted to be Captain America. She leads the science organization of G.I.R.L., aka Genius In action Research Labs.

Mockingbird is a warm and friendly woman while at the same time, holds a fierce determination. She has been shown to be exceptionally strong-willed and stubborn, as she refused to break even when tortured. She is incredible protectiveness about those she cares about. While she is exceptionally good at deception, she has strong morals and does not like lying to those close to her, especially when her true allegiance came to light.

Powers:

Mockingbird is a trained S.H.I.E.L.D. agent who graduated at the top of her class and as such she is very proficient in several forms of hand-to-hand combat, including Kung Fu and Taekwondo and familiar with a wide range of weapons. She usually uses a pair of batons which can be combined to form a single staff. Her uniform comes attached with wing-like extensions allowing Her to glide on wind currents.
