Some days, you don’t need inspiration — you need to release tension and slow down.
This mindful art warm-up starts with a simple action:
crumpling a piece of paper until you feel the tension in your hands and shoulders soften.
From there, we slow things down even more.
You gently follow the creases of the crumpled paper with a fineliner.
No planning. No thinking ahead.
Just letting the line glide, skipping shapes if you want, trusting your hand.
When the drawing feels complete, you can fill the shapes with:
– simple patterns
– dots or lines
– or leave it just as it is
This is a grounding exercise you can use:
• before starting a creative session
• as a mindful cool-down
• or whenever your head feels full and busy
There is no right result here. The goal is presence, not perfection.
