A major terror plot was crushed in North Waziristan as Pakistan’s brave security forces foiled a coordinated suicide assault targeting Kashif Shaheed Fort in Mirali. Militants from the Jaish-e-Fursan Muhammad faction, linked to Hafiz Gul Bahadur’s group, tried to storm the fort but were swiftly intercepted. In the ensuing gunfight, four terrorists, including a suicide bomber, were eliminated.
